AI and the Film Value Chain

In this focus report, stemming from the Public Film Funding at a Crossroads series, Dr. Angus Finney guides us through the many wonders and challenges that AI is bringing to the film sector and helps us navigate the unchartered waters with practical advice, use cases, industry insights, and some humor to lighten the load. To be proactive in the conversation – both about its opportunities and its challenges – we need to familiarize ourselves with AI’s role across various facets of the film value chain. This mean investing time in learning and understanding new AI-powered tools and workflows, many of which are disruptive to established processes.
