The former Palme d’Or-winner, Turkish director Nuri Bilge Ceylan’s feature film The Wild Pear Tree has been selected to the Cannes Film Festival, 8 – 19 May, the Official Selection. The Wild Pear Tree is co-produced by seven countries, and Film i Väst is Swedish co-producer along with Chimney. Parts of the post-production is done in Göteborg and Trollhättan.

2014 Nuri Bilge Ceylan won a Palme d’Or for his Winter Sleep. He has been selected to Cannes Official Selection several years with Once Upon a Time in Anatolia (2011), Three Monkeys (2008), Climates (2006), Distant (2002) and the short film Koza (1995). More to read.
