Synopsis

In 1904, Oslo was struck by an earthquake with a magnitude of 5.4 on the Richter scale. The tremor caused significant destruction, though fortunately no lives were lost. Geological studies show that the risk of a new, larger earthquake remains high. Constant movements are occurring in and around Oslo.
