Synopsis
The film is based on Iselin Theien's biography of Sonia Wigert. Sonia lived as a diva and star in Stockholm when World War II broke out and quickly caught the attention of Nazi officer Josef Terboven. Sonia was recruited by the Swedish intelligence service as a spy. She developed a close relationship with Terboven, who recruited her to spy on the Swedes. Her father was imprisoned in Oslo while Sonia began a love affair with a Hungarian diplomat in Stockholm. This became a tightrope walk and a double game that had fatal consequences for her.
