Handling
Julia is soon 30 years old. She has many talents but struggles to show results and increasingly feels like she is playing a supporting role in her own life. Her boyfriend, Aksel, a little older and a successful comic book artist, wants them to start a family, but Julia resists. One evening, she sneaks into a party and meets a young, charming man. Soon, she has left Aksel and thrown herself into a new relationship. Julia struggles to keep all doors open but soon realizes that some life choices are already behind her.
The film is the final part of Trier's Oslo trilogy: "Reprise" 2006 and "Oslo, 31 August" 2011. A dramedy about love in our time. About having all the opportunities in life but continuing to feel like the worst person in the world.
