Synopsis
A few days before Christmas, Matthias returns from his work in Germany to his old Transylvanian village, eager to meet his former lover Csilla, while also intending to spend time with his old father Otto. He also wants to get more involved in his son Rudis' education, a son he has long left in the care of his mother Ana. He hopes to rid himself of the underlying anxiety that has plagued him. When new workers are hired at the small factory Csilla runs, peace in the small community is shattered. Many adults grow anxious, frustrations, conflicts, and emotions spill over the thin veil of understanding and tranquility. "R.M.N" is about deeply rooted human behavior and how it is affected by a dramatically changing reality, relationships, and how we all relate to an uncertain future.
