Synopsis

"Armand" takes place during an afternoon at a primary school and centers around a meeting between the school administration and a number of parents. It gradually develops into a humorous and captivating drama.

Production Facts

"Armand" is the first feature film by the Norwegian director Halfdan Ullmann Tøndel.

Norway's Oscar entry and shortlisted for an Oscar in 2025. The film had its premiere at the Cannes Film Festival, where it was awarded the Camera d'Or for Best Debut Film.

In the leading role, we see Renate Reinsve, who won the award for Best Actress for her role in "The Worst Person in the World" at the 2021 Cannes Film Festival.
