Synopsis
When Bouran, a young woman living alone in rural Iran, tries to uncover the truth behind her sister Sana's disappearance, she unexpectedly faces resistance from her parents, the police, and the local community. During her search, she discovers that her sister had a forbidden relationship with another woman, but also uncovers an even more ominous secret that starkly reveals the hypocrisy and misogyny embedded in the moral, religious, and sexual codes that the small community has always lived by.
