Redoubt

Synopsis

At the height of the Cold War, farm worker Karl-Göran Persson collects scrap metal to fortify his house, hoping to shield himself and his neighbours. His efforts are met with bewilderment from the adults and quiet amusement from the children.

The film is directed by John Skoog who co-wrote the script with Kettil Kasang. In the leading role as Karl-Göran Persson, we see the French actor Denis Lavant.

"Redoubt" is produced by Plattform Produktion in co-production with Film i Väst, Film i Skåne, SVT, BCD Film, BUFO, Lemming Film, Paloma Productions, and Madants.
