Film Commission Sweden Launches New Website

Film Commission Sweden is proud to announce the launch of its new official website - a platform designed to make it easier for international producers and filmmakers to discover Sweden’s diverse and attractive filming locations.

The new website serves as a comprehensive gateway to Sweden’s wide range of cinematic environments, from snowy landscapes and enchanting forests to vibrant cityscapes and historic fortresses. Sweden’s commitment to reducing carbon footprints, along with government support for green initiatives, makes it a top choice for environmentally conscious filmmakers.

The website is the result of a strong collaboration between Sweden’s regional film funds; Film i Väst, Film Stockholm, Film i Skåne, and Filmpool Nord. Together, these partners represent the full geographic and creative breadth of the Swedish film industry. The project has also been developed in collaboration with the Swedish Institute.

By simplifying access to location information and regional expertise, the new website marks an important step in strengthening Sweden’s position as an attractive, sustainable, and competitive destination for international film and television productions and as a partner for coproductions.
