Studio Fares in Trollhättan is one of Scandinavia’s best-equipped sound stages, purpose-built for film production—especially when it comes to soundproofing and acoustics, ceiling height, and large studio doors. The studio space covers 1,100 square meters with a ceiling height of 10 meters.

Studio Fares
Studio Fares in Trollhättan is one of Scandinavia’s most well-equipped sound stages, purpose-built for film production—with exceptional standards in soundproofing, acoustics, ceiling height, and large studio access doors. The studio offers 1,100 square meters of floor space and a 10-meter-high ceiling.
A motorized telfer system, controlled directly from the studio floor, operates 40 hoists for lifting set pieces and lighting rigs.
Inside the studio, you'll find Europe's largest projector-based Virtual Production wall. The facility also includes a props storage area, a carpentry workshop, and a studio corridor with a large access door leading straight out to a secure, gated yard equipped with EV charging stations.

On the floors above the studio, you will find production offices with three dressing rooms, costume and makeup areas, as well as six desk spaces. On the same floor, there is a café with a fully equipped kitchen and a dining area for 50 people. On the floor above, there is plenty of space for teams with a total of 20 desk spaces, a kitchenette, and a large meeting room.

Rental of Studio Fares
Studio Fares is primarily intended for Film i Väst's co-productions but can also be rented by others for filming movies, commercials, commissioned films, etc. For Film i Väst co-productions, the same procedures as before apply.
Independent supplier companies invoice for other costs related to Virtual Production, set design, and technical deliveries. For information about the independent suppliers' services regarding Virtual Production and other matters, see the contact details below.
For external productions, Film i Väst only invoices for the rental of the studio and production facilities, see prices below. External renters who are not co-productions with Film i Väst can make definitive bookings of Studio Fares and production facilities a maximum of two months in advance.
Rental Costs for Studio Fares for External Rentals
(Productions that are not co-productions with Film i Väst)
Cost for the first day: 25,000 SEK
Cost from the second day onward: 20,000 SEK
All prices are subject to 25% VAT.
Included in the rental cost for external rentals:
Electricity and heating costs
Large fenced and alarmed parking with direct access to the studio
Cleaning
Carpentry
Set storage
Prop storage
Internet
Inspection before and after the rental period
Five alarm tags per team
One Film i Väst representative on-site Monday to Friday, 09:00–17:00
A walkthrough for the use of studio tools if needed
