Synopsis
When his wife dies in a tragic train accident, stationed military man Markus must return home to his teenage daughter Mathilde. The accident appears to be random until mathematician Otto shows up with his two eccentric colleagues, Lennart and Emmenthaler. Otto was himself a passenger on the ill-fated train and is convinced that the incident was no coincidence—someone is behind it. As the events stack up, Markus begins to suspect that his wife may have been an innocent victim of a planned attack.
