Tomorrow, the 2026 edition of the Cannes Film Festival opens, and Film i Väst will once again be present in Cannes. We are proud to celebrate ten consecutive years with co-productions in the Official Competition.

This year, Film i Väst is hosting a seminar on the role of the auteur, presenting upcoming projects at our annual press conference, and taking part in several festival and industry initiatives. Most importantly, Cannes is an opportunity to meet filmmakers, producers and partners from around the world to discuss future collaborations.
