Since Dijana is not getting any help for her chronic pain, her daughter has an idea to help her, in her own ways…

8 Months
A young journalist gets the political scoop of the century and finds herself fast-tracked to becoming the Press Secretary for Sweden’s newly appointed Foreign Minister. As she gets closer to her new boss, she uncovers dark secrets: has she unwittingly become a pawn in a game that threatens the country’s national security? Set against the current geopolitical context, she will become uncomfortably close to a Russian Intelligence operation to undermine Sweden’s relationship with NATO.

8 Months is a tense political thriller whose stakes lie at the heart of the Swedish government, destabilised by external forces. Following the life of a journalist looking for a scoop, the series unveils the inner workings of political communication and diplomacy, and plunges us into a coming scandal, like a time bomb…
