Ruben Östlund’s Triangle of Sadness and Ali Abbasis Holy Spider are both nominated for four European Film Awards respectively: European Film, European Director, European Scriptwriter. In total Film i Väst’s co-productions received eleven nominations.
– We congratulate all the nominees and we are so proud of being co-producers of such successful films. 2022 is absolutely one of the best years for Film i Väst’s co-productions and the triumphs of the films of Ruben Östlund, Ali Abbasi and Sanna Lenken at the festivals in Cannes and Berlin are also reflected at the European Film Awards, says Kristina Börjeson, Head of Production at Film i Väst.
