During the last eight years Film i Väst’s co-productions have been nominated to the Palme d’Or at the Festival de Cannes. The co-productions have also had their success stories in other festival sections. 

Among the directors we can mention Ruben Östlund, double winner of the Palme d’Or with his Triangle of Sadness and The Square, and of course Tarik Saleh, Ali Abbasi, Christian Mungiu, Joachim Trier, Thomas Vinterberg, Ninja Thyberg, Magnus von Horn and Jim Jarmusch.
