Festival Favorites

For the past nine years, Film i Väst’s co-productions have been selected for the Official Selection in Cannes. Twice, Ruben Östlund has taken home the Palme d’Or. In the same period, our co-productions have received 18 Oscar nominations. In 2021, Thomas Vinterberg won an Oscar for Another Round.

Film i Väst’s co-productions are regularly featured at the world’s most prestigious festivals and award ceremonies: Berlin, Cannes, Venice, Toronto, Sundance, the Oscars, the Golden Globes, and the European Film Awards. And of course, Sweden’s own Guldbagge Awards.
